Will your team survive the Wild West?

Sense has teamed up with Large Outdoors to bring you a brand new concept in team fundraising… Sense Weekends.

Sense Weekends will be an annual, themed event aimed at bringing groups of people, work colleagues and friends together. The aim is to complete several outdoor pursuit-style challenges as a team. Learn new skills, challenge yourselves, have fun, meet new people and raise much needed funds for Sense, the national deafblind charity, along the way!

Do something amazing in 2012 and challenge you and your team at the Sense ‘Wild West’ Weekend 13th - 15th July 2012

What are the challenges?
Well now, we don't want to give too much away but over the weekend we promise you will have explored the stunning area around Castleton.  You’ll see it from all sorts of angles and new perspectives both over, under and above!  Needless to say you will do plenty of walking as well as testing your skills with some new outdoor pursuits. Not all challenges are physical.  There will be plenty of brain-teasers and logic challenges along the way.

Who can enter?
Absolutely everyone!  The weekend is suited to everybody as long as you’re over 18 at the time.

What is the team fundraising target and registration?
To enter this weekend you will need to pay a team (4 people) registration fee of £300.  This covers all activities, equipment, two nights camping, Saturday night food and party.

We then ask that, as a team, you pledge to raise at least £1300 all of which will go straight to Sense, helping Deafblind children and adults in your community.

Why do it?
Because we promise you will have a great time!  Not only will the Sense Weekend itself  be an amazing experience, but you’ll really work together as a team in the months leading up to the event.  How?  By working together as a team.  Thinking of fun ways to raise much-needed funds for deafblind adults and children in your community, you’ll have an amazing sense of achievement.

So, get on your best ten gallon hat and see you there!
